AME has built its reputation on detailed and accurate analysis of production costs covering mines, smelters and refineries. These major reports provide information on the profitability of each operation, company and industry group. This allows you to compare and benchmark individual plants and mines to optimise your decision-making process.

Like all our work, the Cost Reports are available electronically via our website as well as in printed format. In addition, you receive our Cost Modeller, which is a working spreadsheet that encourages you to change key variables such as exchange rates, by-product metal prices and concentrate treatment charges. The results can be seen on a re-drawn cost curve.
