Due to strong business growth, we are looking for mining and metals industry professionals with market and/or project evaluation experience in base metals, particularly nickel and copper. We are seeking analysts who are keen to extend their interests in the economic and financial aspects of the resources sector by producing highly respected industry and commodity research with a global perspective.

AME offers extensive training where required, and flexible working hours in a supportive, collegiate setting. You will be working in a team of highly qualified professionals who have extensive experience with major mining, metallurgical and minerals processing operations in Australia and overseas. AME’s analysis provides clients with critical market advice so that they can assess the profitability of each sector by benchmarking the operating costs of individual mines, smelters, refineries and steel mills.

You will have appropriate tertiary and technical qualifications in mining, metallurgy or geology, with experience in base metals production and commodities markets. Applicants should also have extensive computer skills, superior report-writing ability and enjoy working in an intellectually challenging environment.
